Dr Alicia Toh, Ph. D, M. Eng, B. Eng, CUA
Creative Director
Alicia is responsible for the design leadership and technical strategy of TDL’s client projects. She leads a team of engineers and designers to research and develop product, service and experience solutions that are customized to our clients’ brand identity and strategic focus.
Prior to founding TDL, Alicia led product innovation and development in the area of healthcare within Singapore's top research agency, the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR). During her 12 years in scientific research, she has helped university startups and entrepreneurs translate early stage research findings into tangible and scalable products.
She has taught innovation & industrial design in Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), Singapore. A strong believer of using innovation for social good, she has raised funds and managed social innovations projects. An NTU alumni, she holds a B.Eng & M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering, a Ph.D in Fluid Mechanics and, is a certified usability analyst.
